LFA Sold Out in Japan

the first super car from the Lexus LFA Lexus is proving tough. In Japan alone this car was sold out aka sold well despite the price is quite expensive.

Ration of 500 units throughout the world, Japan which is the home base of this Lexus LFA quota only give as much as 165 units. However, as quoted by The Motor Report, Thursday (21/1/2010) car for nearly USD 4 billion had been sold in Japan.

LFA own bookings opened on October 21 last year, applications for LFA is scheduled to be taken until March 21 this year. LFA will begin production in late 2010 and began to be distributed to the subscribers in December 2010 to December 2012.

Inaugurated in the year 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show, LFA has 1LR-GUE/4.805 cc petrol engine, V10 is capable of producing output power up to 412 kW (560 PS) at 8700 rpm and maximum torque of 480N / m at 6800 rpm.

What about acceleration? This supercar can go from 0-100 km / h in 3.7 seconds with a maximum speed of 325 km.

In Indonesia itself, the Lexus was rationed as much as 2 units, the sale will be conducted with the auction system. But as Toyota made Lexus, which is a principal, not yet clear when the auction will begin.
